We can quote grooming time most accurately after meeting with and assessing your dogs grooming needs. Typically we request up to and between two and four hours for each groom. Please note we do not offer boarding services as we have limited space in our salon. If you become unavailable to pick up or arrange pick up for your pet after the groom we do reserve the right to charge $35.00 per pet per day for day boarding during our regular business hours and an additional $50.00 per pet per night if left overnight.
Cancellation Policy: We request clients give a 12 hour notice to cancel a scheduled appointment so that it can be made available to others. A fee of $25 per pup will apply if a scheduled appointment is missed without notice. Our staff is happy to still care for your pup if you are running late and our schedule permits however arriving 15 minutes late or more may not leave us with adequate time needed to complete the service and run on time for clients that may be scheduled later in the day. In that case the appointment may be subject to cancellation.
Satisfaction: Your Satisfaction is important to us. If there may be dissatisfaction in the length of your pups coat after any haircut service and you would like any area adjusted to a shorter length please notify your groomer upon check out. We will be more than happy to make any adjustments at that time. We provide a 24 hour time window to let us know of any adjustments that may need to be made. Beyond that all return visits will be treated as a new appointment and will be charged accordingly.
Severely Matted Dogs: The amount and severity of the matting will determine whether extra brushing and conditioning is required to remove lighter tangles or if shaving is necessary to safely and comfortably remove tighter matting. The safety and comfort of the pets in our care is of highest importance to us and if there is too much tight matting throughout the pets coat to comfortably remove to save the length of the hair we will offer you options to take the coat down shorter to maintain the dogs comfort during the grooming process. You are always welcome to come in between grooms for a Bath & Brush appointments so we can help condition and brush the coat to prevent tangles and matting from developing. We require a matted release form to be signed prior to grooming a matted dog due to the fact there may be many skin issues uncovered.
Special Needs (Behavior or Medical): We are willing to work with dogs that have a difficult time at the groomers. We find that the way we groom, start to finish, is a positive way to groom these types of dogs. Please share with us any concerns you may have about your dog’s health or behavior.
Aggressive Dogs: We reserve the right to refuse any dog that may be displaying signs of aggression for the safety of our staff, clients and other dogs.
